Ginestro Pass

In Andora, you leave the Via Aurelia, and after a challenging climb among olive trees and vineyards, you arrive at Colla Micheri. Time seems to stand still in this delightful medieval village, famous for having hosted the Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl. We recommend a visit, then, after an enjoyable descent, you reach Laigueglia and quickly Alassio.

After the tough climb of Moglio, you arrive at Crocetta, where a photo of the bay is a must before setting off again, pedaling along the scenic road that offers stunning views of both the sea and the Ligurian hinterland.

Once past Testico, the ascent to the Ginestro Pass begins, reaching the summit at 677 meters above sea level. Just enough time to catch your breath before descending into the valley, surrounded by lush olive trees, passing through Cesio, Torria, Chiusanico, and Pontedassio.

The last of your energy will be needed to tackle the final climb of the day to Diano Arentino. Before returning to the hotel, we recommend a stop in Diano Castello!
